Berkeley Makes Green Honor Roll

UC Berkeley once again made Princeton Review's Green Honor Roll (along with UC Santa Barbara and UC Santa Cruz).

Berkeley has made a firm commitment to remaining a leader in the sustainability movement. Among the campus accomplishments:
  • Berkeley pledged to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions to 1990 levels by 2014 (six year sooner than the rest of California).
  • The campus will complete over 200 energy efficiency projects.
  • Berkeley is the first college food service in the country to have received organic certification, and organic salad bars are now a staple at campus dining facilities.
